Loyd W. Dollins has been named Director and President of First Colebrook Bank. According to CEO and former President Jim Tibbetts, Dollins joined the bank in 1999 as Senior Vice President. "In 2005, Loyd was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He will now step into the role of President." Tibbetts served as bank president for 11 years, and will continue as Chief Executive Officer and President of the bank's holding company.

Tibbetts credits Dollins with greatly expanding the scope of the New Hampshire-based bank. "Loyd has been instrumental in reaching beyond our Colebrook and Concord offices to open branches in Amherst and Portsmouth. He has been an effective leader and has been responsible for many day-to-day functions. As President, Loyd will oversee every aspect of the bank."

Dollins' career began in Florida. He was a member of a group that organized a community bank in Miami and went on to serve as its President. When that bank was sold in 1991, Dollins moved to New Hampshire and joined New Dartmouth Bank as Regional Vice President. He later moved to Granite Bank as a Vice President Commercial Lender responsible for the management and origination of commercial loans throughout southern New Hampshire.

Dollins holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Florida Atlantic University, where he also did post-graduate work in finance and accounting. Dollins completed training in credit analysis and commercial lending at Florida International University's Center for Banking and Financial Institutions. In New Hampshire, his civic and community involvement has included a trusteeship of the trust funds for the town of Bedford. Dollins served on the boards of the Milford Industrial Development Corporation, Souhegan Valley Resources, and the forerunner of the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce. Other activities include Little League and Babe Ruth baseball, the Boy Scouts, and the Concord Rotary Club. He is also a current member of the Business Support Committee of the Amoskeag Business Incubator in Manchester.
