First Colebrook Bank Awards Bob Davis with the Bill Bromage Community Service Award

Portsmouth, NH – Board Chairman Judy Dalton and COO John Pratt presented the Bill Bromage Community Service Award to Bob Davis for his involvement in many community service endeavors including the Portsmouth Rotary Club, Chair of the Rotary Chicken Thunder Road Race which has raised over $60,000 during Bob's six years, Seacoast United Way, board member of the Women's Business Center, Meals on Wheels and others.

Bob has worked at First Colebrook Bank since 2007 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President/Senior Commercial Loan Officer.

Congratulations Carol McGinty

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce that Carol McGinty has been promoted to the position of Branch Manager.

Mrs. McGinty has worked for First Colebrook Bank for over five years. Prior to joining the First Colebrook Bank team, she worked in high-end retail management for over 20 years. A Portsmouth native and graduate of Portsmouth High School, Mrs. McGinty earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management at Westbrook College in Portland, Maine. She is an active community member and has volunteered in a local PTA as the Fundraising Coordinator.

 

Welcome Lise T. Howson

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce that Lise T. Howson was hired as Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer for the bank’s Colebrook, New Hampshire branch.

Lise joins the bank with 25 years of New Hampshire banking industry experience, where she has held a variety of positions, including commercial lender. Now living in Northumberland, Lise is active in Coos County, and is familiar with the needs of northern New Hampshire businesses.

She was involved with the Nashua Police Athletic League and the Nashua Boys & Girls Club, and studied Business Administration at University of New Hampshire Whittemore School of Business and Economics.

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of John Pratt to Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. John joined FCB in 2007 and has over 40 years of banking experience. He formerly served as President/CEO of Olde Port Bank in Portsmouth and Siwooganock Bank in Lancaster. He was also employed for many years at First National Bank of Portsmouth. Congratulations Bob Davis

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Robert A. Davis to Senior Vice President/Senior Commercial Loan Officer.

Davis has been in the banking industry since 1989, serving as Commercial Loan Officer for Granite Bank, Siwooganock Bank and Ocean National Bank before joining First Colebrook in 2007, as Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer.

Davis received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Keene State College. He was raised in Peterborough and currently resides in Portsmouth.

 

 

Welcome Cassandra Lucas

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce that Cassandra Lucas, a Merrimack, New Hampshire resident joined the bank’s Amherst branch as Customer Service Supervisor on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.  

Ms. Lucas received her Bachelor of Science degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, and joins First Colebrook Bank with over three years of bank industry experience. Most recently, Lucas served as a personal banker where she worked closely with customers and matched the best banking products to their specific needs.

As Customer Service Supervisor, Lucas’ new responsibilities include management of the teller line and customer service representatives. Lucas shares First Colebrook Bank’s vision for ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to the bank’s valued customers.

Heather brings more than 20 years experience and was named 2012 Business Leader of the Year by the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce. She was also named Lender of the Year in the SBA 504 Program in 2011 and is a very active community leader throughout the region. We are happy to have her aboard!

 

First Colebrook Bank Supports Got Lunch! Program

On Friday, May 16th, First Colebrook Bank hosted Jeans Day to benefit the Colebrook area ‘Got Lunch!’ program. First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce that $180 was raised for the program.

The Colebrook area Got Lunch! program is in its third year of providing healthy and free summer lunches to all Colebrook, Stewartstown and Pittsburg school children. The program is managed by a group of concerned citizens from the Monadnock Congregational Church who took action when they heard that many children were not getting the nutrition they need during the summer.

Families who register will be able to pick up lunches or have delivery to their homes. A grocery bag of healthy foods including fresh fruits and vegetables, a loaf of whole wheat bread and sandwich fillings are included. SAU #7 is partnering with the volunteers in an effort to assist them to reach local families.

All employees at all branches participate in First Colebrook Bank’s Jeans Day.  Each of the four branches has the opportunity to select one charity per year.  Employees donate $5 to wear jeans for the day and contributions collected are donated to charity.

Welcome Jenna Halvatzes

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce that Jenna A. Halvatzes has joined the bank's Amherst, New Hampshire branch as Assistant Branch Manager. 

Ms. Halvatzes studied business administration at the University of Southern Maine and joins First Colebrook Bank with eight years of bank industry experience. Most recently, Jenna was a loan documentation specialist. Initially, she joined the banking profession as a Customer Sales Representative for TD bank, and later served as Senior Customer Service Representative and personal banker for Centrix Bank. 

As Assistant Branch Manager, Jenna's new repsonsibilities include, representing Colebrook Bank in the community, overseeing day-to-day branch operations, customer service and teller lines, and delivering exceptional service to deposit customers. 

With a solid focus on customer service, Ms. Halvatzes shares First Colebrook Bank's vision and believes in ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to the bank's valued customers.

Wayne Frizzell Elected President of North Country Chamber 

Wayne Frizzell, AVP/Branch Manager/Business Development Officer of our Colebrook branch, was elected President of the North Country Chamber of Commerce. The North Country Chamber of Commerce covers the areas of Colebrook, Pittsburg, Stewartstown, Stratford, Columbia, Clarksville, Dixville, Millsfield and four towns in VT (Bloomfield, Lemington, Canaan, Norton). His term as president runs through March, 2015. Congratulations, Wayne!

 

Veteran-Owned Business Loans

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce our small business loan program for veterans. Funds are available for qualified veterans seeking financing with an easy application process.

“We look to serve qualified veterans who are seeking small business financing,” states John Pratt, Executive Vice President at First Colebrook Bank. “Our experienced commercial lending team can assist borrowers with the application process.”

The SBA has announced new measures to help get loans into the hands of veterans. For all veteran loans up to $350,000 that are authorized under the SBA Express program, there will be no upfront fee. This initiative will start on January 1, 2014 and continue through the end of the fiscal year.

First Colebrook Bank Welcomes Joanne Connelly as VP/Commercial Loan Officer

First Colebrook Bank is pleased to announce that Joanne M. Connelly has joined the bank as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.   

Mrs. Connelly joins the First Colebrook Bank team with over 25 years of professional experience that has guided the success of small businesses throughout the Concord area. She has degrees in Finance and Accounting from New Hampshire College and has attended the New England School of Banking. Joanne has worked as a Relationship Loan Officer, Credit Analyst and Loan Administrator.   

Mrs. Connelly is also an active community member. She is a Leadership Greater Concord graduate and a volunteer for The United Way and Friendly Kitchen, as well as a Chatter Cup volunteer for the benefit of Easter Seals Autism Network.
